Supporting Every Student and Teacher

The Fund for Friends (the School's annual fund) is the most important fundraising initiative for our School, as it ensures we can carry out the mission-driven work that we commit to every year. The Fund touches every corner of our community and is the heart of our school’s financial health, allowing us to bridge the gap between tuition and the full cost of a Friends Seminary education. Nearly seven percent of the operating budget is not covered by tuition and fees, and this is where the Fund for Friends comes to the rescue.

Your gift directly enhances:

  • FINANCIAL AID which enables us to provide equitable access to a Friends education. Currently, 20% of our students receive assistance for tuition and related expenses.
  • ACADEMIC PROGRAMMING that is ever striving to meet the changing needs of our students and their teachers.
  • MISSION DRIVEN PROGRAMS by strengthening the teaching of our Quaker values, and supporting the Center for Peace, Equity & Justice.
  • PERFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS, including more than a dozen annual productions, concerts and gallery shows.
  • FACULTY COMPENSATION AND ENRICHMENT to support our dedicated teachers and ensure they continue to grow and learn.
  • ATHLETICS comprised of 33 school teams (15 Varsity, 4 JV, 14 MS) for a total of 320 student athletes.
